Individuals who are interested in volunteering as bus drivers or hostesses with the medical/dental bus ministry should contact Joanne Honeycutt, the Medical/Dental Bus Coordinator at 1-800-395-5102, ext. 5603 or jhoneycutt@ncbaptist.org. Drivers and hostesses are required to complete a training course and work alongside an experienced driver at two or more dental clinics prior to being certified. A CDL license is required for drivers. Training includes technical knowledge of dental equipment and instrumentation, universal infection control and safety, mechanical knowledge of bus frame, motor and accessories as well as general knowledge of added equipment such as generators, air compressors, and water pumps.
