SPORTS MISSIONS
It is said that 95 % of the world’s population reads about, participates in, or watches sports every day. Truly, sport is an international language. The Sports and Recreation Ministry of North Carolina Baptist Men exists to blend a love of sports and recreation with the love of Jesus Christ.

OUR OBJECTIVE
The goal of NCBM Sports Missions is to create and/or promote opportunities for youth and adults to use sports and recreation as a missions tool. This may be accomplished through promotion and recruitment of a sports camp team to serve on the mission field, the training of church leaders in how to use their facilities for sports outreach, or the promotion of a sports challenge program that churches can use locally.  Another goal of the NCBM Sports and Recreation Ministry is to equip churches to begin an outdoor ministry in their congregation.  Outdoor ministries include recreational activities such as hunting, fishing, camping and much more.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone who has a love for sports and a desire to exercise their faith in Christ can be involved. Although this is a Baptist ministry, we also welcome Christian believers of other denominations to participate.

This is a three hour event designed to be used as a sports outreach for the local church.

A non-denominational Christian organization whose goal is to introduce children to Christ by creating opportunities to serve through sports.
