NC BAPTIST MEN APPROVE A NEW MINISTRY
The former "Resort and Leisure" and "Sports Missions" ministries have combined forces to inaugrate the SPORTS AND RECREATION MINISTRY of North Carolina Baptist Men.

This ministry's purpose is to encourage and equip Christians and their churches to use wholesome recreational activity as a means to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people who already share our interest in sports and recreation.

Sports and Recreation Training Event:
On March 6, 2010, the Sports and Recreation Minstry of NC Baptist Men will host a training event for churches who want to learn how to use Sports and Recreation to reach their community and be involved in sports missions aournd the nation and world through Partnership Missions.  The event will highlight the basics of Sports Missions and Ministry, how to run an effective sports outreach, hands on training, and mission opportunities available through NC Baptist Men.  The event costs $10 which will includes breakout materials and lunch.  For more information or to register please contact Mike Sowers, NC Baptist Men, 800.395.5102 ext. 5626 or msowers@ncbaptist.org.
