2009 Disaster Response

Johnston/Wilson County Tornado, May 2009

NCBM Disaster Relief Recovery and Chaplaincy volunteers responded to the needs of those affected by the May 5 tornados in Johnston and Wilson Counties.  The work consisted of protecting homeowner property using tarps and removing tree debris with chainsaws.  In addition, DR Chaplaincy volunteers provided emotional and spiritual support.
