HAWAII-PACIFIC
PROJECTS at the PUU KAHEA BAPTIST CONFERENCE CENTER in 2010:
From 2005-2009 NC Baptists enjoyed a wonderful Partnership with the Hawaii-Pacific Baptist Convention. Volunteer teams served on all of the Hawaiian Islands, as well as places like Guam and American Samoa. In January of 2010, NC Baptist Men will initiate a continued relationship with the Puu Kahea Baptist Conference Center on the island of Oahu. The conference center has utilized many NC teams over the past five years to do maintenance and light construction. The conference center also has plans to construct several new buildings in the next couple of years. In addition, the Hawaii-Pacific Baptist Convention may also ask for teams to do maintenance and other projects at some other Convention facilities as part of this new relationship.
Note that there is an option for maintenance and construction teams to also do some evangelistic outreach through sports clinics and/or Backyard Bible Clubs if the team wishes. These ministries can be arranged through the camp director.
