| The Baptist State Convention entered into a Partnership with the Hawaii-Pacific Baptist Convention in 2005. North Carolina teams continue to hae an impact in this largely unchurched paradise. Don't be fooled by the beauty! There is real lostness here! NC Baptists are not only reaching Hawaiians directly, through outreach and evangelism, they are also making it possible for Hawaiian Baptists to minister more effectively through facilty renovation. In 2008, twelve North Carolina Baptist teams have served in Hawaii in a variety of ways, including youth camps, Vacation Bible School, renovation, new construction, and much more. |

| While an exotic and beautiful place, Hawaii and the Pacific presents unique ministry challenges. A tremendously diverse population peoples Hawaii, including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino and Pacific Islanders. North Carolina Baptists will discover exciting opportunities in assisting Hawaiian Baptists in reaching their communities for Christ.
