Rocky Mountain

Since 2005, NC Baptist Men have been sending teams to serve in the Rocky Mountain area of our nation. Projects have been completed in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, Utah, and New Mexico. Volunteers have served through construction, VBS, servant evangelism, prayer walking, camp ministry, and more. See the 2012 Projects List below. 

Chapel Construction at Mountaintop Baptist Assembly in Casper, Wyoming
Our main construction project for 2012 will be the bulding of a new chapel for the Mountaintop Baptist Assembly, Wyoming's state Baptist camp. NC Baptist Men have been sending cook and maintenance teams to the camp since 2006 and have a good working relationship with the camp leadership. Design will include worship space and bathroom facilities and will be approximately 40’ x 60’. We have slots for eleven construction teams to serve, beginning in mid-July and going through late September. See project requests from the list below. Construction Teams Needed in Utah and Montana
Construction teams are needed to help two growing congregations in construction of educational space this summer in Montana and Utah. Teams are needed from June to August and will be utilized in all phases of construction. Host churches will provide space for sleeping, ground transportation once on site, kitchen for team’s use, and showers. No materials cost is required. Cook and Maintanence Teams for Youth Camps
In 2012, NC Baptist Men will once again send teams to serve at the Inlow Baptist Camp in New Mexico and the Mountaintop Baptist Assembly in Wyoming. Cook teams and maintanence teams are needed throughout the summer. Cook teams of 6-8 volunteers render a tremendous service to these Baptist camps. Team members enjoy getting to meet the campers and the camp staff. These are great places to serve.
