EASTERN CANADA

The Baptist State Convention of NC has entered into a partnership with the Canadian Convention of Southern Baptists. This Partnership will officially began in January of 2007 and continue until at least the end of 2009. It will cover the Eastern portion of Canada, including the provinces of Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. North Carolina volunteers will have the chance to serve in the areas of evangelism, outreach, leadership training, VBS, sports camps, community canvassing, construction, prayer walks, and more during the course of this Partnership.

Canada offers North Carolina Baptists the chance to serve Christ in a much-needed area of the world. Canada has become a very secular society over the past decades. The percentage of those belonging to an evangelical church is now in the single digits. The need for sharing Christ and furthering His Kingdom among this generation of Canadians is crucial. North Carolina Baptists will have the chance to assist Canadian Baptists in reaching their country for Christ. Be in prayer about this exciting Partnership and your participation in it!
