Evangelistic Outreach/Street Ministry
Teams of 2-15 volunteers are need for evangelistic outreach for local community. Outreach consists of working the farmers’ market on Saturday morning until 1:00 pm and doing street ministries other days of the week using musicians, singers, jugglers, etc. Volunteer will also meet and interact with people and promote church’s outreach efforts – VBS, “Rocking Big Celebration” @ RBC, block parties, etc. Team will assist in these outreach efforts when possible depending on dates, using inflatables, games, food, and other ideas team may have. Team will need to bring supplies i.e. face paint, balloons etc. Volunteers with experience in working with people, presenting the gospel and who have the gift of encouragement are needed. Team may choose to stay at local motels, small teams can stay at the church with showers and kitchen, and large teams possibly can stay at the Calef House & Retreat Center – contact requestor for details. Team will need to provide own food that can be cooked at the church or Calef House kitchen. Note: Team will be responsible for conducting professional background checks on all team members over the age of 18 for this project Team leader will be sent information from NC Baptist Men concerning options for this.
Length of Assignment: 5 days, including Saturday morning

Costs: Travel to Vermont, food, lodging, outreach supplies
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
