Painting and Repairs at Ministry Center
Bennington, VT
One team of 8-12 volunteers is needed to make repairs at the CareNet Crisis Pregnancy Center, which is located in an old two-story house. House needs to be painted on the exterior and some repairs are needed to the foundation. The toilet and porch will need to be replaced. Team will need to help with the cost of the materials. Volunteers with carpentry and painting skills would be helpful. Team will need to supply their personal tools. Teams will need to provide own transportation. Team will need to make own lodging arrangements. Team may stay at Capstone Baptist Church or at Grace Christian School – contact requestor for details. Team is responsible for own food. Meals can be prepared in church or school kitchen.
Length of Assignment: One week
Preferred Date: May – Sept 2012
Cost: Travel to Vermont, food and materials for repairs
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
