Church Maintenance Needs
Washington, VT
One team of 4-8 volunteers is needed for some special construction jobs. Projects include installing a thermal cutoff device in the furnace room of the education building, installing exhaust fans in the church bathrooms, and relocating a heating duct in the ceiling of a classroom in the education building. Church will supply all materials needed for this project. Team will need to have at least one person experienced in electrical, carpentry and working with metal ducts. Team will need to provide own transportation to Vermont. Team is responsible for reserving and paying for their stay at the Calef Retreat Center. Contact requestor for lodging details. Team will need to provide own food. Kitchen is available at Washing Baptist Church.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: April - October 2012
Costs: Travel to Vermont, food, lodging
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
