Youth Rallies
Washington, VT
One team of 10-15 volunteers is needed to help lead 3 day Youth Rallies. Requestor would like to have a bible study before the rallies for the more committed young people in the area youth groups. The Youth Rally will focus on reaching the teens that wouldn’t usually come to church. Team will need to coordinate with requestor on the topics and contents of these Bible Studies and Youth Rallies. Most of our youth group teens need clear definitions to “church” terms. Requestor would like the team to be available to outreach a day or so before the Rallies. Team with experience in leading music and teaching teenage would be helpful. Team will need to provide own transportation to Vermont. Team is responsible for reserving and paying for their stay at the Calef Retreat Center. Contact requestor for lodging details. Team will need to provide own food.
Length of Assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: June 24 – June 30, 2012
Costs: Travel to Vermont, food, lodging, some outreach supplies
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
