Servant Evangelism/Prayerwalking
Lyndon Center, VT
One team of 8-12 volunteers is needed to perform minor home repair and other forms of servant evangelism as an outreach for local church. Some small materials cost may be involved. Those details can be worked out with requestor. Volunteers will also prayerwalk in the town of Brighton and Island Pond in the NE Kingdom of VT. This is a part of a goal to reach all towns in the NE Kingdom that do not have a Christian presence and support those Christian churches in the towns that do have one. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team may stay at the church and in the apartment next door. Housing details can be worked out with requestor. Team will need to provide own food. Kitchen is available at church and apartment.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: Apr. – Sep. 2012
Costs: Travel to VT, tools for repairs, lodging, food
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
