Parsonage repair/Construction
Rockport, ME
One team of 10-12 volunteers is needed to repair or replace rotten floor joists where needed and install new floor. Perform other minor repairs as needed to make house ready for pastor and his wife to live in. Volunteers with carpentry, demolition, and willing to serve would be helpful. Team will need to provide own transportation and housing. Team may stay in the house and adjacent apartment if team is not >10 or so. Housing details can be worked out with requestor. There is a kitchen available at house for teams use.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: Sept. 2012
Costs: Travel to VT, donated materials for project, lodging, food
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
