Paint Parsonage
Moscow, VT
One team of 8-12 volunteers is needed to paint the exterior trim on parsonage. This includes doors, windows, facia, and soffit. Project requires replacing some rotten wood. If the team has the skills, the trim could be wrapped in aluminum trim coil. There are several other items that need repaired. Host church will supply all materials. Volunteers with carpentry and painting skills who are comfortable working on ladders are needed. Team will need to provide own transportation and housing. Contact requestor for available options. Team will need to provide own food. Church kitchen is available and church may be able to help with some meals.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: May – Sept 2012
Costs: Travel to VA, food, lodging
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
