Cooks for Children’s Camp
Casper, WY
One team of 6 volunteers is needed to prep, cook, serve and clean up after meals for children camp (mini-week). All pots and cooking utensils will be provided. Volunteers who enjoy making children and youth feel important and like to cook and clean would be helpful. Teams will be on cement floor all day, so wear comfortable shoes. Team will need to provide own transportation to and from the camp. No vehicle will be provided. Housing is provided as well as linens. Food is provided during the camping week. Team will need to provide food before and after camp.
Length of assignment: 4 days
Preferred Dates: June 27-30, 2012
Cost: Travel to Wyoming, Travel to and from camp
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
