Evangelistic Events/Community Service
Butler, Pennsylvania
Individuals, couples or a small team are needed to help church man a booth at the Butler Farm Show. Show draws thousands of people from the local community. Church needs individuals to help them man a booth throughout the week – can work with church to decide activities. The church would also like to do some community project in the mornings. Volunteers with the love for people and willing to reach out to neighborhoods would be helpful. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team may make arrangement at local hotel or stay at church. Team will need to provide own food. Team may use the church kitchen to prepare their meals.
Length of assignment: 5-7 days
Preferred Date: August 1-31, 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insuracne is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have any questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
