Roof Replacement
Philadelphia, PA
A team of 10-12 volunteers is needed to replace shingles for church roof. Volunteers with experience in roofing, not afraid of heights and people skills would be helpful. Church does not have funding for this and would greatly appreciate help from the team for materials. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team may stay at local church – contract requestor for details. Team will need to provide own food and meals may be prepared at the church.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: March – September 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, lodging, food and help with materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
