Renovation of Pole Barn into Youth Facility
Coatsville, Pennsylvania
Teams of 8-20 volunteers are needed help renovate current 25 x 40 pole barn into a church youth facility – “The Cave”. Several tasks will be involved with this, including installation of interior walls, doors, windows, drywall, electrical wiring, etc. Team leader can work out details with requestor. Host church will provide most building materials, but if team can help some it would be a big help. Other ministry projects can be added if team wishes (see PA12-010) Team will need to provide own transportation. Team may make arrangement at local hotel or stay at church. Church will have covered dish supper on Sunday then church kitchen will be available for use all week to the team.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Date: Summer 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food, help with materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
