VBS/Outreach
Towanda, Pennsylvania
One team of 10-20 volunteers is needed to conduct a Vacation Bible School and Community Outreach events, which may consist of community cook-out, youth or children’s event, revival services. Team will need to provide ministry supplies. Small groups can stay at the church (limited space). No showers in the church, but others have built an outdoor shower and hooked into the church for hot water. Team will need to provide own food. Church has a kitchen for teams use. Details can be worked out the requestor. Local hotels are also available.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: June to September 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food, financial help for projects
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have any questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
