Back Yard Bible clubs/Servant Evangelism
Delaware County, Pennsylvania
Team of volunteers is needed to hold Backyard Bible Clubs in parks across the community. Teams will need to prepare for BYBC in these targeted neighborhoods. Volunteers will conduct a neighborhood prayer walking. Servant evangelism may include reading program for community children at local library, coffee outreach at local train station, and others. Team will discuss materials/supplies cost with requestor when planning trip and activities. Team may stay in large meeting room but there have to bring air mattresses and/or sleeping bags. Team may use the church kitchen and fellowship hall for meals.
Length of assignment: 3 days (team normally stay a week)
Preferred Dates: June 11, 2012 – August 1, 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food, lodging, supplies for BYBC
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have any questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
