Spring Break or Easter Week Outreach
Delaware County, Pennsylvania
One team needed to do prayerwalk, street evangelism and outreach project. Outreach Project may include: Easter egg hunt and block party for the neighborhood kids and Sidewalk Chalk Mural. Evangelism Projects may include: free carwash in the community, reading program for neighborhood kids at local library, stocking shelves for the local food pantry and preparing garden for the new season. Team will need to provide ministry supplies. Team may stay in large meeting room but will need to bring air mattresses and/or sleeping bags. Team may use the church kitchen and fellowship hall for meals.
Length of assignment: 1 week
Preferred Dates: March – April, 2012
Costs: Travel to PA, Food and activities materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have any questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
