Sport Camps/light construction
Hazleton, Pennsylvania
One team of 10-25 volunteers is needed to conduct a sports camp, either soccer or basketball. Team will need to prepare for a morning and an afternoon session. Volunteers may also do one day of light construction i.e. painting, drywall, etc. Team will need to provide all equipment and supplies needed to put on a sports camp i.e. balls, goals, snacks etc. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team can be housed at the church, which has showers and a large kitchen where team could prepare meals.
Length of assignment: 5-7 days
Preferred Dates: June 11, 2012 – August 3, 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food, supplies for Sport Camps
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have any questions about this insurance please see your team leader or contact NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
