Backyard Bible Clubs/Community Easter Carnival
Hazleton, Pennsylvania
One team of 10-25 volunteers is needed to hold three days of Backyard Bible Club at local parks – in morning and afternoon. Volunteers will also do one day of light construction i.e. painting, drywall, etc. as well as help with community Easter egg hunt/carnival. Volunteers who love working with children, high energy and have experience with light construction is helpful. Team will need to bring all supplies needed for BYBC such as crafts and recreation. Usually attendance at the park is 10 children on day 1, 15-20 children on day 2 and 3-30 children on day 3. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team can be housed at the church, which has showers and large kitchen where team could prepare meals.
Length of assignment: 5-7 days
Preferred Dates: April 1 - 7 2012
Cost: Travel to PA, food, supplies for BYBC
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
