Camp Maintenance Workers
Oahu, Hawaii
Couples are needed to assist the manager of state Baptist camp in maintaining camp facility. Will include repairs as needed, mowing lawn, weeding, etc. on a daily basis. Wife could help in planting flowers, clean-up, working in the kitchen, etc. This is hard work, but will be very rewarding in this beautiful setting. Need someone with a general knowledge of construction, repair, and yard work in good physical health. Transportation will be provided in conjunction with camp manager. Housing will be provided at the camp. When campers are in, and meals are provided for campers, volunteers will eat at camp. At other times, volunteers will need to prepare own food. This will be a continual need throughout the year. Volunteers would need to commit to at least 1-3 months.
Length of assignment: 1-3 months
Date of project: Throughout the year 2011 and 2012
Costs: Flight to Honolulu, some food costs.
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
