Construction of Home (Phase I)
Spencer, WV
One team of 10-20 volunteers is needed for construction of home for Bi-vocational pastor with a disabling disease. This project will be done in six phases. In phase 1, volunteers will lay block for basement of approximate 1700 square feet home. Pastor will provide material, donations will be accepted. Teams with masonry and general construction skills would be helpful. Team will need to provide own transportation. Team may stay at Hillcrest Baptist Church which has showers. Team will need to provide own food. Kitchen is available to prepare meals at church.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: April – May
Cost: Travel to West Virginia, food
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which cavers tem in case of an accident while on the mission field.
