Construction/VBS
Oak Hill, West Virginia
One team of 10-25 volunteers is needed to do light construction on a church building and VBS/Backyard Bible Clubs for the children in the community. Volunteers should have general construction knowledge, experience in conducting VBS, and love working with children. Team will need to provide materials for VBS. Team will need to provide own housing and food. Details can be worked out with the requestor.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred Dates: June 18-22, 2011
Costs: Travel to West Virginia, food, lodging, VBS materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days.
