Construction in Church Sanctuary
Gilbert, WV
Teams of 5-10 volunteers are needed to install drywall, finish and paint ceiling in church sanctuary. Work can be done anytime of year. Host church has some limited funds to pay for materials. Team may contact pastor for details. Volunteers who have carpentry finishing, painting and general construction skills would be helpful. Team could stay in church or local motels. Team will need to provide own food, but can cook in church kitchen.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred Dates: January to December 2012
Costs: Travel to West Virginia, food, building materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
