Remodel of Home Damaged by Fire
Jenkins, Kentucky
Teams of 5-15 volunteers are needed to rebuild burned home for needy family in community. Work includes drywall repair, plumbing, electrical and general construction, skills. Team will be put in contact with director for material cost. Volunteers who have plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general construction skills would be helpful. Team may stay at ministry center for minimal cost – contact director for cost. Team will need to provide own food, but can cook in ministry center kitchen.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred Dates: January to December 2012
Costs: Travel to Kentucky, food, building materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each Individual is requested to purchase voluntary missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field.
