Community Outreach/Servant Evangelism/Prayerwalking
Fayetteville, WV
Teams of 8-20 volunteers are needed for community outreach, servant evangelism, prayerwalking, and to provide prayer coverage to reach 2000 homes with the gospel. Outreach may include Backyard Bible Clubs, Sports Camps, Block Parties, music, etc. Servant evangelism may include home repair, etc. Team members will also engage in prayer for the community. Details can be worked out with requestor. Teams will need to bring own supplies/equipment. Volunteers who have good evangelism skills, and experience in prayer walking would be helpful. Team can use the church facilities for lodging, showers, and cooking meals.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred Dates: June – August 4, 2012 (flexible)
Costs: Travel to West Virginia, food
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
