Servant Evangelism Projects
Summersville, WV
Teams of 10-20 volunteers are needed to build a handicap ramps, repair roofs and general handyman projects as directed by local Director of Mission. Team will need to provide materials est. $500 -1000 for project materials. Volunteers who have carpentry, electrical, plumbing drywall and painting skills will be helpful. Volunteers should not be in good physical health. Team may stay in church fellowship hall. Team will need to provide own food, but can cook in church kitchen.
Length of assignment: One Week
Preferred Dates: January - December 2012
Costs: Travel to West Virginia, food, building materials
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
