Remodeling of Worship and Community Relations Building
Mallory WV
One team of 15-20 volunteers is needed to remodel worship center. Work may include painting, drywall, and electrical, tile and HVAC. Work will include completing an apartment for pastor which will include two bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms. Volunteers who have experience in carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and general construction are needed. Teams will be asked to help with $1000 toward building materials. Team my stay at Community Relations building for a small cost. Team will need to provide own food, but can cook at church kitchen.
Length of assignment: On Week
Preferred Dates: January-Dec ember 2012
Costs: Travel to West Virginia, food, some housing cost; $1000 building materials.
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
