Construction/Rebuild
Cleveland, TN
Several teams of 10-30 volunteers are needed to help with the rebuilding process of homes destroyed by recent tornadoes. Volunteers who have good construction skills and a heart for sharing Christ with others would be helpful. Teams will need to bring tools with them. Requester is looking to take care of food expenses, construction materials and lodging at local church. Team will need to provide own transportation.
Length of assignment: One week
Preferred Dates: September 2011 – May 2012
Costs: Travel to Tennessee
Volunteer Insurance: Each individual is requested to purchase volunteer missionary insurance which covers them in case of an accident while on the mission field. The cost of this insurance is $5 per person and covers up to 10 days. If you have questions about this insurance please see your team leader or call NC Baptist Men at 1-800-395-5102 x 5596.
