PROGRAM/FACILITIES The Caraway Philosophy
Camp Caraway bases its program on the Christian idea that each boy is a person of worth, created in the image of God. Each boy is important, each has something unique and significant to contribute to the camp. This idea is applied to every activity and to every aspect of the camp program. The key to North Carolina's future lies with the campers of today. Our goal is to instill within each camper the desire to be all that God created him to be.
 | Facilities
The Caraway facilities are owned and operated by the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. Caraway features 17 comfortable cabins, a grade A kitchen and dining hall, a missions center building, a crafts building, a snacks "canteen" building, a large indoor activities building, outdoor chapels, a beautiful lake for canoeing, and a swimming pool. There are also play areas for field sports, trails for hiking, a large camping area, as well as four basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, archery and air rifle ranges, and an obstacle course. Caraway also features a low ropes course, rappelling tower and rock climbing wall for older boys. All campers participate in many of the camp programs and activities, however there are distinct programs and activities for each unit.

14-17yr old boys | Caraway's daily schedule is active and fun, focusing on the total person; physically, mentally, and spiritually. The program at Caraway is balanced to be full of activity, full of interest, and full of meaning. Cabin schedules vary each day according to the age of the participants.
